The Cow Crane is a game changer for handling down cows. It provides a practical and effective way of accomplishing the most critical step to recovering a down-cow: getting them on their feet.

 

Compared to traditional methods, it provides a higher level of protection for the operator and eliminates the need for a tractor/skid steer. The Cow Crance is fully autonomous, and is light enough to be manuvered by hand.

The back of the Cow Crane has adequate width to be rolled over a cow in the laying position. Two worm drive winches provide self-braking lifting points that can be hand-cranked or powered by an electric impact. The lifting points can be equipped with hip clamps, nylon straps, or even full-body slings for more prolonged lifting situations. The strap hanger is designed with two hooks spread apart (instead of a single hook) to prevent "crushing".

 

Solid front tires will ensure that it is always ready for an emergency - no flat tires to slow you down. The tongue is engineered with three different configurations for ease of use and transportation. With the quick adjustment of two pins, it can be towed down the road (casters lifted), pulled behind a fourwheeler (casters down), or used with minimal interference (tongue lifted.)
